Youth Mental Health First Aid Course is for adults who work, live or care for adolescents, such as school staff, parents, sports coaches, community group leaders and youth workers.

You will learn how to assist an adolescent who may be experiencing a mental health problem or mental health crisis until appropriate professional help is received or the crisis resolves, using a practical, evidence based action plan.

Youth Mental Health First Aid is an internationally recognised course and is accredited worldwide by Mental Health First Aid Australia. This is an education course, to learn how to give first aid to others, and is not a therapy or support group.
Empowered Lives runs Youth Mental Health First Aid in a variety of locations, on weekdays, weekends, and evenings. The course cost includes the 12-hour course, manual, and refreshments.
